I don't know which peace rally Dave Glauser (Readers' Forum, May 31) and his daughter attended, but I was at the Salt Lake City-County Building on Thursday evening. It was wonderful to see so many people expressing concern for our country and having the freedom to do so. The majority were interested adults, but there were also a few "shock factor" people — just because it's Utah.

Mr. Glauser missed a great teaching opportunity to show his daughter that even if we don't agree with someone's language, clothes, religion or politics, we are free to follow our own path and blessed to live in this county.
