A 43-year-old woman died from an apparent drowning in her bathtub Friday afternoon at her home in Riverton.
Unified Fire Authority spokesman Wade Russell said his agency responded to a call made by the woman's son just after 4 p.m.
Russell said the son told responders that he had talked to his mother about 30 minutes before he found her under water in the bathtub.
Paramedics were not able to revive the woman, who lived near 4400 West and 12500 South, and no apparent cause was evident. Russell said there was no evidence of foul play. He said an autopsy would likely be performed.
