According to Jim (7 and 7:30 p.m., Ch. 4): Two new episodes of this dreadful sitcom.

Moment of Truth (7 p.m., Ch. 13): This show is so slimy you'll need to shower after watching it. Why is it returning for a summer run? Because lots of people watched it — so it's THEIR fault.

NBA playoffs (7 p.m., TNT): Lakers at Spurs

Hell's Kitchen (8 p.m., Ch. 13): According to Fox, Chef Ramsay does something drastic in tonight's episode. Um, doesn't he do something drastic in EVERY episode?

48 Hours Special: Polygamy, a World Apart (9 p.m., Ch. 5): CBS News describes this hour as a look inside this secretive world with insider accounts, harrowing escape stories, interviews with law enforcement officials and an explosive interview with high-ranking FLDS member Willie Jessop. The broadcast will explore (last week's) stunning court decision and examine the religious sect from the inside out.

It was not available for critics to preview ... so your guess is as good as mine about how this will turn out.

Frontline/World (9 p.m., Ch. 7): Lowell Bergman investigates human smuggling between Mexico and the United States.

The Andromeda Strain (10 p.m., A&E): The two-part TV movie concludes. (Part 1 repeats at 8 p.m.)

Independent Lens (11 p.m. Ch. 7): Filmmaker Socheata Poeuv grew up in America, unaware that her family had survived genocide in Cambodia.
