A Utah Football Combine will be held at Hillcrest High School in Midvale Tuesday at 5 p.m. for any student athlete who will be ninth through 12th grade next school year.
The combine is free, and the results will be e-mailed to all local colleges and select national college. Students need to bring T-shirts, shorts and cleats (track spikes optional). They'll be tested in the following areas: 40-yard dash, vertical jump, standing broad jump, pro shuttle, three-cone drill and bench press, in addition to being measured for height, weight and wingspan.
One of the organizers of the gathering, Jordan High coach Alex Jacobson, said results will also be sent to ESPN, CSTV and Scout.com for their combined national combine stories.
Huntington Learning Center, Athletic Edge and Best Buy are sponsoring the combine.
