I believe with all the strength, intellect and emotion that I bear inside that 18- to 20-year-old young women should never consider marriage as an option. If a returned missionary asks you to marry, say to him, "I might consider, but first let me have a chance to live for myself."

I have met too many older women who married at a young age, divorced and are extremely depressed they missed out in experiencing life during that important time in their lives.

Please let them live a little and grow in their own ways. Let them search for their own independent truth. Let them discover what and who they can become. Let the universe direct them.
