A lawsuit filed in Utah accuses former boxing champ Evander Holyfield of failing to repay a $550,000 loan.
The lawsuit was filed this week in federal court on behalf of a Draper company, RCH2 LLC.
The lawsuit says the money was paid to Holyfield in 2006 and 2007 with the condition that it be repaid with interest after his next fight.
RCH2 is under receivership. Lon Jenkins, who is appointed to preserve any assets, says Holyfield did not respond to a September 2007 letter demanding repayment.
The lawsuit says Holyfield wanted the money to landscape his 235-acre property in Fayette County, Ga. A phone message seeking comment from Holyfield was not immediately returned Thursday.
