WEST VALLEY CITY — Utah's Department of Transportation will begin rebuilding 3600 West from 3500 South to 4100 South in West Valley City this June.

While construction on the road is under way, 3600 West will be closed to most traffic — only residents who live on the street, those attending school or those with business in the area will be allowed on the road.

Construction on 3600 West is expected to be completed in October. In the meantime, drivers will be redirected to 2700 West and 3200 West or Bangerter Highway as an alternative route.
