PROVO — Brigham Young University's Harold B. Lee Library has a new Web site that features items shown in the library's World War II exhibit last year.

The site can be found at wwii.byu.edu.

There are a lot of items that could be of interest to the Latter-day Saint population, according to Roger Layton, library communications manager.

The site also demonstrates the new trend in libraries where they make unique items available to everyone over the Internet, Layton said.

"A lot of people visited the popular 'Remembering World War II' exhibit, and we expect that even more people will view the online version because it will never have to be taken down to preserve the artifacts," he said.
