PROVO — David Kooyman, a faculty member in the department of physiology and developmental biology at Brigham Young University, will deliver a devotional address at 11:05 a.m. today in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, on BYU campus.

Kooyman received bachelor's and master's degrees from California State Polytech University-Pomona in 1982 and a doctorate from Ohio University in 1993 in molecular and cellular biology.

His research interests center around biotechnology, molecular genetics and molecular biology, and he is affiliated with the university's Cancer Research Center.
