Left-hander Matt Harrison threw a seven-inning no-hitter Sunday for the Texas Rangers' Double-A affiliate in Frisco in a 2-0 win over the San Antonio Missions. Harrison, acquired from Atlanta in the Mark Teixeira trade last summer, walked six and struck out five iRoughRiders in the first game of a doubleheader. He was a contender for the Rangers' rotation in spring training. The no-hitter was the second in Frisco's six-year history and the first at home. A.J. Murray, Steve Karsay, and Scott Feldman combined to throw a perfect game on July 28, 2005 in Corpus Christi. The RoughRiders defeated the Hooks 3-0 in that game. Harrison improved to 3-1 with a 3.15 ERA in seven starts this season.
