William Homer Robinson"Bill"Passed away Feb. 6, 2012 at Alta View Hospital surrounded by Family. Born Feb 8, 1917 to Homer and Emma Pfister Robinson in Jamestown, Kansas. Married Annie Gardiner Jan 14, 1943 later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Moved to Myton, Utah at the age of two. Graduated from Wasatch Academy 1934. Joined the Army in 1937 as a Private and finished his military career as a Captain in the Utah Air National Guard 1945. As a Veteran of WWII, his Mobil Radio Group served in Belgium during the Battle of the Ardennes receiving the Belgium Fourragere Citation. He retired from the F.A.A after 33 years of government service. Bill loved Boy Scouts serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster for 30 plus Years in Troup 433. Earned his Silver Beaver Leadership Award. He loved all the scouts and could tell you something special about each of them.Survived by Daughters Lorrain Augason (Bob), Mary Robinson, Son John Robinson (Lina), Sisters Viola Workman, Faye Buckner, Brother Max Robinson, 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great, Great- Grandchildren and one on the way. Preceded in death by his Wife Annie and son William James Robinson "Jim." In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Boy Scouts of America.Funeral services will be held at Foothill 6th Ward, 2215 E. Roosevelt Ave (1450 S) at 12 noon on Monday Feb. 13, 2012. Viewings will be held Sunday 6-8 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 E. 1300 So. and Monday 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Ward. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
