Irvin Myron Nadelman1932 ~ 2012Our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 1, 2012 at the age of 79. Born on April 17, 1932 in Washington D.C to Elias Nadelman and Anna B. Felker. He was the second oldest of four children. Irvin ran track in high school, enjoyed umpiring softball and attended American University. He loved to travel, bowling, and reading and was an avid sports fan. Dad enjoyed being with his family, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren and helping them learn and enjoy life. In 1952, he joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1960. Later in 1970 he was assigned to the AID mission in Vietnam, where he received his outstanding Achievement Award in Management Services. He met Sue, his sweetheart, in N.C. in 1964 and married her on September 5, 1966. Irvin worked for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Aerial Photography Field Office in N.C. In 1975 he was relocated to Utah. He retired after 42 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin sisters. He is survived by; His wife, Sue; and seven children, Gayanne, Judith, Phillip, Deborah, Paul (AnnaMarie,) Donna, and Elizabeth; 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and his brother, Morton (Sylvia) Noble.The Family would like to thank those caregivers who provided comfort for him during the last few months. Daddy we will miss you so much! I love you!A funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 8th, 2012 at 2:00p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 South 1950 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday night from 6 8p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary and also on Wednesday from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.Friends and family may leave stories and condolences at
