Carol Lee Hatton Hiner(Grandma Ernie)Mom and dad are once again walking hand in hand, talking, sharing stories, and a very embracing hug. She will be missed by many, her style, elegance, and grace made her the finest example of a Lady. Mom always kept herself busy; this was easy when she was working. She loved her job and looked forward for every opportunity to learn and grow. The challenges that were given to her, the accomplishments she had achieved, and most of all, the incredible long term friendships she made completed this perfect life. Mom loved to golf, she was on the Parker Golf league for several years. One of the awards she received, and the one she was most proud of was "worse team of the year", it made everyone smile, and no one argued the decision. Traveling with the transplants is something mom and dad always looked forward to. It didn't matter if it was two days or two weeks, they couldn't wait to hit the road for a new adventure. Carol was born to Glen Hatton and Clara Longdon Hatton Rolfe on January 17th, 1937. Married Ernest Dawson Hiner on November 30, 1956. Her children Brad Ernest Hiner, Bret Richard Hiner, and Kim Hiner Sainsbury will always cherish her teachings, inspiration, love, and most of all her "HEART OF GOLD". Her Step Son Tad Armstrong and his wife Rita were a welcome part of her life and she felt fortunate to spend many happy times with them. Ben Thomas Rolfe (Debbie), Kathy Hatton Schneider (Russell), Paul Hatton, will truly miss their sister.Grandma Ernie had 6 grandchildren, Shilo (Jeff), Rikki (Elliott), Adam (Alicia), Andrea (Paul), Stephen (Jessie), Angela.
