Sophia Fleszar Misus1916 ~ 2012Sophia Fleszar Misus, 95 passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Carnegie PA, the daughter of George and Mary Zapor Fleszar, she spent most of her life in Warren, Ohio before moving to Riverton. She enjoyed baking bread, pies, cooking, tending her rose garden, pulling weeds and quilting. Since moving to Utah she loved traveling with her daughter Bea and ser son in law John. Camping was new to her but she was always ready for a great adventure. She received a blue ribbon for her peach pie at the county fair (the first cooking competition she ever entered). She was most proud of the last handmade quilt that she finished this past June which won her multiple ribbons and prizes.She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raymond, four brothers and a sister. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Kalasky (Beatrice) of Riverton Utah, Mary E. McNeal of East Palestine Ohio and Mrs. Gary Wagner (Loretta) of Lakeland FL. Other survivors include seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Pine Mountain Health Care & Hospice for their loving, compassionate and devoted care of the past months. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the above hospice organization.Calling hours are 6-8 PM on Wednesday February 1 with a Rosary starting at 7:30 PM at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. in Riverton. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 2 at 9 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 E. 11800 So. in Draper. A graveside service will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Ohio on Saturday February 4 at 11 AM where Sophia will be laid next to her
