New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco answers a question during Media Day for NFL football's Super Bowl XLVI Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, in Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS — Chad Ochocinco walked across the NFL logo painted at midfield and headed for the interview that's eluded him an entire career.

The New England Patriots player was finally on the receiving end of questions Tuesday on Super Bowl media day at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The media-savvy receiver dreamed of being a center of attention on the Super stage for his entire career. He never got close in 10 years with Cincinnati, so he wound up covering the Super Bowl preview events for his Ochocinco News Network in the social media.

On Tuesday, he fielded questions from dozens of reporters for an hour, showing a different, demure side. He didn't get one of the 14 special podiums, and didn't mind. He talked about his team and about winning, not about himself.
