Ella Mary Winn Dean1921 ~ 2012Ella Mary Winn Dean, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother, neighbor and friend passed away January 28 2012 at the Mountain View Hospital in Payson Utah at the age of 90. Ella was born December 31, 1921 in Independence, Utah. She was the daughter of Charles Alonzo (Lonnie) Winn, and Esther Ellen Bryant. She married her High School sweetheart, George W Dean July 3 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. They made their home in Hunter, Utah. Ella was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in numerous and various callings throughout her life. She retired from the Granite School District Food Service. Ella loved fishing, hunting, horseback riding and working in her flower garden. She loved reading, writing, and collecting antique books. Ella is survived by brothers and sister, Earl Winn (Christiana) of Riverside California, Ralph (LaJean) Winn of Randlett Utah, Doralda (Don) Brokaw of Myton Utah, and Charles (Diana) Winn of Independence Utah. Children: Merrilyn (James) Kennedy of St. George Utah, Dora (James) Edvalson of Payson Utah, and George A (Mary Beth) Dean of Roosevelt, Utah. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband George W. Dean, her parents, and two sisters.There will be a viewing February 2, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the Roosevelt West Stake Center 150 S Skyline Drive, Roosevelt, Utah. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
