Is it to be a future of sniveling government welfare programs and civil service jobs beholden to the president and his political party (for example, welfare, food stamps, cash-for-clunkers and extended unemployment insurance), or is it to be a future of free economics and wealth creation where people are at liberty to work hard, earn and to keep the rewards of their efforts.

America was not designed to be a place where the people are told what to do instead of the people telling the government what to do. The gradual expansion of the federal government has produced an economy-eating, debt-growing monster of central control, burdensome if not punishing regulation and, in a nutshell, a life-smothering presence.

In her beginnings, America was designed to have a lean national government with power residing also with the states and the people themselves. The federal government has become something of a big dirty snowball, as it mows down American liberty in its path, the snowball has become monstrously large, laying waste to an ever wider swath of human life each year.
