A supporter of Republican presidential candidate, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich displays a sign at a Tea Party Rally, Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, in Mount Dora, Fla.

Did the tea party supporters in South Carolina fall asleep? Did they hibernate? I thought that they supported candidates with integrity and strong family values. I thought they wanted to send home the "good old boys" in Washington and replace them with candidates who live in the real world.

My question is, how could they possibly have voted for Newt Gingrich? Do they really want to put forward another autocrat for president?
