Norman Henry Steggell1929 ~ 2012Born: 8 June 1929 in Fillmore, UtahDied: 19 January 2012 in Boise, IdahoHe died from complications after a fall in his home in John Day, Oregon. Norm is survived by his sister Lileth Shelley and by four children Susan Park, Gary Steggell, Elizabeth Frost, and James Steggell. He had 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer with 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy. He was a veteran of both the Korean and VietNam wars. He also retired from the U.S. Civil Service as a Forest Service Archaeologist after working many years in the Malheur National Forest in Oregon. He was actively involved and a beloved member of the John Day Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Graveside services will be Saturday, January 28, 2012, 10 a.m. at the American Fork City Cemetery, 600 North 100 East, American Fork, with full military honors.
