Relva Louise Huffaker Winmill Maisey"Together Again"1924 ~ 2012BOUNTIFUL, UTOur Loving Mother and Grandmother, Relva Louise Huffaker Winmill Maisey, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 20, 2012. She was born December 29, 1924 in Midway, Utah to Royal Huffaker and Anna Louise Haueter Huffaker. She married Roy Hardy Winmill on August 5, 1946 in the Logan LDS Temple. After the passing of our father, our mother married William (Billy) Floyd Maisey on February 5, 2003 in the St. George Temple for time.Our beautiful Mother spent her early years in Midway, Utah playing the piano and playing the trombone in the Wasatch High School band. She moved to Grantsville, Utah in 1949 where she served many years with her God given musical talents. She played the piano and organ in Church, played in a dance band, sang in quartets and trios in the Old Folks Sociable, and she accompanied everyone to sing and dance in many programs. She taught piano lessons her whole life. She also worked at the Grantsville City Office as the City Recorder.She served her whole life with her beautiful music. She and our father served four missions. In 1982 to 1984, they served in Nauvoo, the City of Joseph. She was secretary to the Mission President and played the piano for all the programs, and gave tours of the Browning home. They also served at the Salt Lake Temple grounds as Tour Guides on Sundays for four years and a full time mission on Temple Square for 18 months. They also served at the St. George Temple at five locations: Visitor's Center by the Temple, the Tabernacle, Brigham Young's Winter home, Jacob Hamlin's home, and the Pine Valley Chapel. She played the Organ at the St. George Temple until her stroke in 2011.She is survived by three children, which include Charlene (Ron) White; Randy (Carole) Winmill, and Ron (Rita) Winmill, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cherrie Louise Winmill; both husbands; and 10 brothers and sisters. She was a loving and optimistic wife and mother who spent her whole life in service to her family, church, community and her Father in Heaven. She had a Testimony of Jesus Christ her whole life.Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orchard LDS Ward Chapel, 1282 West 1875 North, Farmington, Utah. A visitation will be held Thursday, prior to services, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel. Interment will following the services, at 3:00 p.m. at the Midway City Cemetery in Midway, Utah.
