Edna Cooper Lee1923 ~ 2012Edna Putnam Cooper Lee (Donaldson, Rhodes, Dean), age 88 died Jan 19, 2012 of natural causes after suffering a lifetime plagued by Bi-polar Disorder. This beautiful, charismatic, talented, intelligent woman was the daughter of Harriet (Hattie) Putnam and Alberto (Bert, Al) Olpin Cooper. Siblings Melba, Marjorie, Louise, Richard, and Howard all preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 children: Cheryl L. (Matthew) Chambers Orem; Gary K. Donaldson Kearns; Patricia A. Margolis - Mill Valley, CA; 9 grandchildren: Matthew Jr and Amanda Chambers; JeNee, Trent, Eric, Kristi Donaldson; Jenna, Joel, Jules Margolis and 10 great-grandchildren. Edna graduated from West High, Henagers School of Bus, LDS Bus College, and NY School of Interior Design. She sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, The Madrigals, the Jay Welch Chorale, sang solos, and starred in church & community plays. Edna worked for Continental Bank, Lions House, AC Spark Plug, GM, UP&L, Forseys, Sperry Univac, ZCMI, Nordstroms. She received many salesmanship awards. She was the owner of her own successful business Interiors by Edna Dean. After a stroke, she gave interviews about seniors and healing on radio & TV. She gave entertaining holiday readings on the radio and to groups. Viewing from 2:00-2:45 p.m. followed by Funeral Tues., Jan 24 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary 260 E So Temple. Burial Salt Lake City Cemetery.
