The article regarding the demolition of dorms at Heritage Halls caught my eye ("BYU's Heritage Halls dorms demolished, to be replaced with updated buildings," Jan 18). I lived there during my freshman year at BYU and will remember good times at Ruth May Fox Hall.
Sadly the picture showed wasted couches, mattresses and bed frames tossed out onto the lawn in the rain. Especially at BYU, aren't there many young married couples with children who might have needed an extra bed or couch?
