New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (12) runs with ball as he is shadowed by quarterback Brian Hoyer (8) while performing field drills during NFL football practice at the team's facility, in Foxborough, Mass., Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012. The Patriots are slated to host the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship, Sunday, Jan. 22.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — New England Patriots wide receiver Deion Branch says Tom Brady just wants to be a regular guy in the New England Patriots locker room.

But he says Brady can't do that because he's the face of the NFL.

Brady and his teammates are preparing to face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game on Sunday. He returned to practice on Thursday after skipping Wednesday's session to rest his left, non-throwing shoulder.

For all Brady's accomplishments, Branch said he's still a perfectionist who pushes his teammates in the meeting rooms and on the field. And guard Brian Waters said he appreciates how hard Brady works and, because of that, he doesn't want to disappoint his quarterback.
