Dallas Walter Larson1939 ~ 2012Dallas Walter Larson, husband, father and grandfather left his "bunch of people" and returned home to his Heavenly Father. He was born July 13, 1939 in Basalt, Idaho and passed away too soon at the age of 72 on January 18, 2012. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dallas, a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, served an honorable mission in Stockholm, Sweden, as well as countless hours serving his church during his lifetime. After his mission, he married his sweetheart, Georgia Lyne, on August 17, 1962 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they had five children whom he adored, and they adored him. He was a man of great physical and spiritual strength and had a great sense of humor. He always left people feeling better for simply knowing him. He had a passion for cars, enjoyed church history, loved golfing, boating and spending as much time possible with his "bunch of people." He was preceded in death by his daughter Edna Camille, parents George and Mary, and his brother Larry. He is survived by his wonderful wife, Georgia, beautiful children, Tylyne (Richard) Chamberlin, Dallas (Caroline) Larson, Brian (Charlotte) Larson, Matthew (Jennifer) Larson and his 15 individually loved grandchildren. He will always be in our hearts, and greatly missed here on this earth, but we rejoice knowing we will see him again. Go build a home for us in heaven, Daddy, we'll catch up.
