Norman Kendall Harris"Fleet"Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away January 10, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Norman Kendall Harris was born August 03, 1927 to Franklin Everett Harris, and Margaret Rose Howell Harris in Malad, Idaho. Grew up in Portage, Utah and married Diana Cutler on December 13, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. She passed away on July 10, 2003. He then married Virginia Jones Bowels on June 1, 2004 and enjoyed two and a half years together with her and her loving family before her death. He married Evelyn Petersen on July 14, 2007.Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, he served in many callings including Bishop of the Kearns 18th Ward. He lived in Kearns since 1952. Served in the Army Air Corps. He was employed at Kennecott Copper as an oiler-operator on the big shovels. He enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, boating and water skiing.His greatest love was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Harris, children Kaleen (Mac) Middlesworth, Myrna Harris, Jed (Debbie) Harris, Danny (Nikki) Harris, Kayla (David) DelaMare, Ryan (Sandi) Harris. His younger brother Clint Harris, and sister Carolyn Grace. He leaves behind 17 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by Evelyn's children, Susan (Larry) Wright, John I (Verna) Petersen, Mike (Shauna) Petersen, Randy (Leslie) Petersen and Sheila (Randy) Buchei and adding many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Viewing will be on Sunday January l5 at the Westwood Heights Chapel on 3976 W. Dimrall Dr. (5615 So), from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Monday January 16, 2012, at the same Chapel location at 11:00 a.m. Viewing from 9:30-10:45 prior to services.
