Jeffrey James Manley1955 ~ 2012Jeffrey James Manley, 56 died on January 10, 2012 after an eight year struggle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma & Leukemia. Jeff was born March 27, 1955 in Taylor Pennsylvania. He attended Ricks College in Rexburg, ID. He served an LDS mission in Pocatello, ID. He attended BYU in Provo, UT where he met his wife, Kim Stevens. They were married July 20, 1978 in the Provo, UT Temple. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at BYU. Jeff is the father of five children and nine grandchildren. He worked at a number of Utah hospitals including Pioneer Valley, Utah Regional, Jordan Valley and spending the last 10 years as CEO at Castleview Hospital in Price, UT. Jeff also served in the Utah Hospital Association as a Board Member. Survived by his wife Kim Stevens Manley; his children Jacob Manley (Melissa Williams), Redondo Beach, CA; Sara Laursen (Harley), Kemmerer, WY; Nathan Manley, Price, UT; Katie Carlson (Chad), Price, UT; Nicole Manley, Provo, UT. He is also survived by his younger sister Kathy Manley of Orem, UT, his mother-in-law Marilyn Stevens, Orem, UT, brothers and sisters-in-law Ted and Susan (Stevens) Boyer, Larry and Diane (Stevens) Price, Dave and Carol Stevens, Clark and Mary Lou (Stevens) Fleming, Joe and JoAnn (Stevens) Cioffi, and Jonathon Stevens. His grandchildren are Maggie, Joshua and Claire Manley; Emma, Hyrum and Hans Laursen; Linnea Carlson, Jack Hedin and Max Carlson. Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Joanne Hendershot Manley, father, Joseph Louis Manley, sister, Susan (Manley) Daley, brother, Joseph Mark Manley, and father-in-law, James David Stevens, nephews Matthew Daley, Thomas Fleming, Michael Slavens and niece, Jordan Price. Funeral service Saturday, January 14, 2012 11:00 a.m., Price North LDS Stake Center (449 North 100 East) Price. Family will receive friends at the Price North Stake Center Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to service, Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price, Utah.
