Keith Eugene Martin"Will Be Missed"Keith Eugene Martin returned home to his Heavenly Father peacefully on January 3, 2012. He was born October 21, 1924 in Scipio, Utah to Truman Mark Martin and Lovisa Thompson. Keith married Lois Turpin March 6, 1948; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. In 1951 he was hired on at Mt. States Telegraph and retired from Mt. Bell after 30 years of service. He was the co-founder of the Kearns National Little League where he coached the Braves for 13 years.He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family was the most important thing in the world to him. His sense of humor brought joy to anyone who was around him. To him "Scipio" was the happiest place on earth. He loved being there with his family. He enjoyed Horses, hunting, and fishing; and sometimes stood alone as a BYU fan against his grandchildren. He is survived by: son, Mark (Chris); daughters, Julie (Kirby) Watson and Peggy (Marc) Bingham; 12 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his beloved wife and son, Tony; parents; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, at 12:00 noon at the Kearns 4th Ward chapel, 4232 W. 5015 S. with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Rd.
