Louis V. DaRonche1921 ~ 2012Louis V. DaRonche, 90, left this world on January 3, 2012 holding the hand of his bride of 63 years and surrounded by his loving family. Louis was born August 29, 1921 in Ponte Alto Agordo, Italy to Joseph John and Emma Santel DaRonche and immigrated to the United States, living in Fairview, New Jersey until he entered the Army in 1943. A veteran of World War II, Louis jumped into the dark of night with the 101st Airborne on D-Day; he served gallantly throughout the European Theater. Louis returned to the United States in 1945 and after being honorably discharged, he married the love of his life, Mary Angela DaZanche at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church on January 29, 1949. Together, they made their home in Sandy Utah, where they raised their family and forged lasting memories. Louis lived, laughed, and loved. He enjoyed traveling, working in the garden and spending time with his family and friends. His strong work and family ethics was unmatched. He worked for Kennecott for 35 years and retired in 1982.Louis is survived by his devoted wife Mary; his two sons, Ronald E. (Fran) DaRonche, John P. (Shelly) DaRonche; grandchildren, Joe DaRonche, Jamie (Eric) Russell, Jennifer (Chad) VanSickle, Roni (Daniel) Nielsen, Tony DaRonche, Jennifer Perry, Carlin DaRonche, RJ DaRonche; and great grandchildren, Madison, Malorie, Gianna, Brooklyn, and Kendyl.To know you was to love you. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 West Lennox St. (7832 So.), Midvale, Utah. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. with a Rosary Service to follow at 7:30 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary 8090 S State Street Midvale, UT. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Therese Catholic Church building fund.
