WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — The Pac-12 gymnastics coaches picked Utah to finish as the regular season runner-up to UCLA in a poll announced Wednesday by the Pac-12 office. UCLA and Utah, which were ranked first and fifth in the nation in the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches (NACGC) preseason poll, will open the season against each other on Jan. 8 in Los Angeles.

UCLA received 48 total points and six first-place votes in the Pac-12 poll, while Utah earned 43 points with two first-place votes. Oregon State was third (38 points), followed by Stanford (30), Washington (24), Arizona (19) and Arizona State and California, tied with 11 points each.
