Winifred Anna Peterson George1916 ~ 2011Winifred Anna Peterson George passed peacefully from this life the evening of December 16 and was greeted joyfully by many loved ones in the Spirit World. Winnie became a true daughter of Christ, as she gave of herself to others. Born to Nephi and Loveda Peterson in Lincoln, Idaho on April 15, 1916; she attended school in Idaho Falls. She became an accomplished violinist, earning a music scholarship to the University of Idaho-Moscow, and performing for many church and civic programs throughout her life. She sought out opportunities to expand her knowledge while raising her five children and serving faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her ethics and genial personality brought her continued success in real estate until well after retirement age. Her later years in St. George were her happiest loving her close family, dear friends, nature, traveling, and serving. Married in the Idaho Falls Temple to Charles Tabb George, later divorced. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Garren and Leland, daughter Karen, sons Kim and John; survived by her daughters Kirstin (Rogerio) and Marion, sons Mike (Marlene) and Tabb (Cindy), and beloved grandchildren.
