DETROIT — The Detroit Pistons have retained Rodney Stuckey with a $25 million, three-year contract.

A person familiar with the deal tells The Associated Press on Saturday that the restricted free agent has signed the contract. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the transaction had not been announced.

Stuckey has averaged 13.6 points and 4.5 assists over his four-year career with the Pistons.

Detroit drafted Stuckey out of Eastern Washington with the 15th pick in 2007.
