Weber State senior offensive lineman J.C. Oram added to his postseason honors Thursday as he was named to the Associated Press FCS All-America First Team. Last week Oram was named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America First Team.

The Mariott-Slaterville, Utah native is one of eight players from the Big Sky Conference to earn first team honors from AP. Two Big Sky players were second team and two were third team.

Oram finished his career with the Wildcats by starting all 11 games on the offensive line for the Wildcats this season. He earned Big Sky All-Conference First Team honors for the second-straight season. He was part of a WSU offensive line that blocked for quarterback Mike Hoke and the group of WSU's running backs, including C.J. Tuckett who rushed for over 460 yards and eight touchdowns in the final two games of the season.

For his career the Fremont High School product played in 48 career games at Weber State and started 47 of them. He did not start in the first game of his career as a freshman but started the next 47 games for the Wildcats.

He was part of an offensive line that blocked for several All-Conference runners, including Trevyn Smith, WSU's career leader in rushing. He also blocked for 2008Big Sky MVP quarterback Cameron Higgins, who became Weber State's all-time passing leader andt he Big Sky's career touchdown leader.

Oram has earned Big Sky All-Conference honors four times in his career earned Second Team All-American honors in 2010.

He was part of the Wildcat team that won the Big Sky title in 2008 and helped WSU to the FCS playoffs in 2008 and 2009.

The SportsNetwork will announce its All-America Team in January.
