WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — University of Utah place-kicker Coleman Petersen has been named the Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week after hitting the game-winning field goal in overtime against Washington State last Saturday.

It was one of three field goals Petersen made in the Utes' victory, which came in wintry weather conditions on a snow-covered field at Pullman, Wash. Petersen made field goal attempts of 33, 45 and 38 yards, with the 38-yarder coming in overtime. He also made all three of his extra-point attempts.

It is the second weekly conference award for the junior walk-on from Sandy, Utah. He also won Pac-12 special team honors on Oct. 17 for his efforts in Utah's win over Pittsburgh.
