LONDON — David Beckham's income from personal sponsorship deals rose 30 percent last year, signaling the enduring strength of the Los Angeles Galaxy player's brand appeal.

According to figures released by Britain's Companies House, revenue for the company that handle Beckham's endorsements was $23.9 million in 2010.

In 2009, Footwork Productions received $18.3 million from companies including sportswear manufacturer Adidas.

The accounts also showed that the 36-year-old former England captain received $18.6 from the company compared with $14.6 million the previous year.

A separate company, Brand Beckham, receives a share of the merchandising revenue he generates for the Galaxy along with joint endorsements with his wife, Victoria, including their range of fragrances.

A third revenue stream in 2010 was Beckham's guaranteed $6.5 million annual salary from the Galaxy.

His five-year Major League Soccer contract expires in November.

Several European clubs has expressed an interest in signing the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player, including French side Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League clubs Tottenham and Queens Park Rangers.
