Constance Louie Rayment Chipping, born September 25, 1915 in Luton, Beds., England passed away August 6, 2011 at age 95 due to natural causes. Married William Osborn Chipping and immigrated with their family to Salt Lake City, Utah in April 1950 where they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Connie was a convert to the LDS church and active all her life fulfilling many responsibilities in the Relief Society and Primary, including a mission to Bristol, England (with her husband) and Spokane, Washington. Throughout her life she was always striving to be a missionary. She was an exceptional artist, pianist, gardener, and avid reader of the scriptures. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a spiritual giant with a very tender heart for everyone she knew. Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by her four children: Delia M. Larson (Roger), Andrew W.R. (Luella), Christopher J. (Lynden), and Cathryn L. Campbell (Travis), including 22 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but we know she is in a better place and at peace. We are so grateful for the legacy she created for us all. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 10th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC with funeral services held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cottonwood 8th Ward at 6301 S. 2300 E., SLC with a viewing one hour prior to service. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
