Charlene Peck Johnson Families Are Forever

Comment on this story

Charlene returned to her Heavenly Father and her eternal companion on May 24, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born April 13, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ida Pauline Dansie and Earl Ray Peck. She survived polio when she was nine years old. Charlene demonstrated an admirable strength of spirit in overcoming the crippling and painful effects of the disease. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She was employed as a loan officer for Mountain America Credit Union for many years. Charlene loved to cross-stitch and crochet afghans for her family and friends. She was a dedicated mother who was always happy. Her smile remains a fond memory in our hearts. She is survived by her son Richard (Sheryl) Robbins; grandchildren Micah, Ashley, Brandon; and sisters Erlene (Grant) Taylor, Lila (Wayne) Thompson. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Jesse Johnson; and two children Ricene and Gregory.
