Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away very peacefully among his family, on May 25, 2011.Born on December 6, 1924 in Salt Lake City, to William and Rachel Bowcutt. Married Dora Jane Hyde June 22, 1963 (later solemnized in the Manti Temple). Harry was an amazing craftsman, and he spent countless hours in his garage building gifts and treasures for family and friends. Harry served his country in the Army during the Korean Occupation. Worked for the government for 33 years as a machinist/ tool and dye maker. After retiring from the government, he worked for the University of Utah Physics Department. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church, and the South Salt Lake Lion's Club. Survived by his wife of nearly 48 years; two children, Ed and Rachel; grandchildren, Amber and Chris; one great-grandson, Bridger; brother, Russ (Trudy), and sister-in-law, Edith. Preceded in death by brother, Bill. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at the Central Park Ward, 304 East 2700 South, with a viewing one hour prior.
