Stellman A. (Stub) Greenhalgh 1922 ~ 2011

Stellman Allan Greenhalgh, age 89, passed away February 20, 2011 at his home in Nephi, Utah. He was born January 7, 1922 in Nephi, Utah to Joseph Hyrum and Adelade Pearl Belliston Greenhalgh. He married Faye Morley June 16, 1949 in the Manti LDS Temple. He graduated from Juab High School and was Senior Class President. He enlisted and served in the US Navy during World War II serving in the Pacific Theater. He was involved in farming his entire life. He worked at NRP for 33 years. He was instrumental in starting Nephi Western Federal Employees Credit Union. He loved his family, the gospel, hard work, and fishing. Oh, and did we mention fishing? He is survived by his wife, Faye Nephi; children, Randy (Joan) Greenhalgh, Mark (Linda) Greenhalgh, and Donna (Stephen) Allred all of Nephi, UT; Karl (Amy) Greenhalgh of Brigham City, UT; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grand-children; brothers, James M. Greenhalgh of Orem and Clark Greenhalgh of Nephi. Preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011 in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, UT and at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.
