Janet Brickey Stewart Skipper "Granny Jan"

After a courageous battle with cancer, Janet Skipper passed away on Dec. 7, 2010. As a mom, wife, sister or friend, Janet exemplified kindness, patience and love. Born on Dec. 5, 1946 to Paul Robert and Eva Daybell Brickey in Provo, Janet loved life, relished learning and was always willing to try something new. She met Donald Stewart at Provo High School. Janet married Dyion Skipper on July 3, 2004 and moved to North Carolina where she enjoyed horseback riding, finding unique shops and walking along the beach. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Raleigh LDS temple. Whether it was reading, baking, gardening, going to lunch, making crafts with grandchildren or crocheting, Janet enjoyed life to the fullest.
