Robbie Bosco, 1982-84: Bosco, from Roseville, Calif., was second-team All-American in 1984 after leading the Cougars to their only National Championship that season. He also won the Sammy Baugh Trophy, was runner-up in the Davey O'Brien Award voting and third in Heisman Trophy balloting both in 1984 and 1985.64-66 He led the NCAA in total offense (3,932 yds ) in 1984, was second in passing efficiency and set 10 NCAA records. In 31 games at BYU, he threw for 8,400 yards and 66 TDs.

Bosco (6-foot-2) was drafted in the third round of the 1986 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers, but his professional career was cut short by an arm injury. He's currently an administrator in BYU's athletic department.
