COLORADO SPRINGS — The Sky Sox scored all seven of its runs in the second inning, six of them unearned due to three Salt Lake errors, as Colorado Springs rolled to a 7-3 win over the Bees on Wednesday night.

The loss was Salt Lake's seventh in their last eight games. Pitcher Fernando Rodriguez and centerfielder Tyson Auer each committed throwing errors and first baseman Paul McAnulty misplayed a pickoff throw from Rodriguez to help Colorado Springs to their big inning.

Rodriguez (4-6) suffered his second straight loss, as he lasted just 12?3 innings and allowed seven runs, one earned, on six hits with two walks, one strikeout and one hit batter.

The Bees were shut down by Sky Sox starter Josh Muecke (6-7), who retired 23 of the first 25 batters he faced before surrendering three runs in the eighth on an RBI double by Tyson Auer and run-scoring singles by Alexi Amarista and Michael Ryan.

BEES WAX: The club has reassigned infielder Jesus Campos to Double-A Arkansas and promoted infielder Alexi Amarista to Salt Lake from Arkansas.

Campos, 22, has appeared in eight games for the Bees in 2010, registering one double. In six games for the Orem Owlz this season, he posted one double and two RBI, while hitting .230 with one home run and 10 RBI in 17 games for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. Amarista, 21, has appeared in 48 games for the Travelers in 2010, hitting .288 with two doubles, one triple, one home run and four stolen bases. He played in two games earlier this season for the Bees, hitting .500 with one double, one triple and one stolen base.
