Recently, when queried about why he did not salute the flag during the playing of the national anthem, Barack Obama is quoted as stating, "We were singing the 'Star Spangled Banner,' and the flag wasn't in front of me, the flag was behind me." Any new Cub Scout knows that the playing of the national anthem — regardless of where the flag is — requires a salute. And why wasn't Mr. Obama facing the flag? Because "he was looking at the singer." It's the flag and the anthem that are being honored, not the singer.

This is the man some want as president. Incredible.
