PORTLAND, Ore. — Tuesday's scheduled game between the Portland Beavers and Salt Lake Bees at PGE Park has been postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader at PGE Park on Tuesday, Aug. 26, it was announced this evening.

The Aug. 26 doubleheader will feature two seven-inning games, with a first pitch at 6:05 p.m.

The Bees have today off and will start a four-game homestand at 7 p.m. Thursday against the Fresno Grizzlies.

Also, the Bees announced that right-handed pitcher Jeff Kennard has been assigned to double-A Arkansas and catcher Tim Duff has been called up to Salt Lake from Arkansas.

Duff, 26, hit .207 in nine games with one double and two RBI for Arkansas this season. The Coatsville, Pa., native spent the majority of the 2007 season in Arkansas but was promoted to Salt Lake on July 29, where he spent the remainder of the season. In 10 games for the Bees, he hit .243 with seven RBIs and two home runs.
