The Utah Department of Environmental Quality has listed today as a "yellow" air quality action day for Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Weber Counties because of blowing dust.
The Bear River Health Department has also listed Cache County's air quality levels as moderate, but conditions are expected to improve by late today or tomorrow.
The DEQ advises people to reduce driving, consolidate trips or use transit and stay indoors in "yellow" air conditions to reduce exposure to the dusty air. Factories are also advised to reduce their release of pollution under these air conditions.
