LOGAN — Police have arrested a teenager they say is responsible for graffiti that caused thousands of dollars in damage.

Over the last eight months, the word "KNOX" has appeared in spray paint on buildings around the city, according to a statement from the Logan Police Department.

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy on Tuesday in connection with the vandalism. Police said the teen is responsible for at least 22 incidents of tagging, causing more than $8,000 in damage.

The boy has been referred to 1st District Juvenile Court, where he faces 22 counts of criminal mischief.
