J.P. DANCING BEAR, poet and author of "Billy Last Crow" and "Conflicted Light" and editor of "The American Poetry Journal," and MADELEINE MYSKO, poet, novelist and author of "Bringing Vincent Home," a novel, and "Crucial Blue," a poetry collection, will read from their work Friday, 7 p.m., Dumke Student Theatre, Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory, Westminster College. ANGELA HALLSTROM, author of "Bound on Earth," a multigenerational story of a contemporary Utah family, will read from and sign copies of her novel, Saturday, 1-4 p.m., Barnes and Noble, 10180 S. State, Sandy.

ALPHONSE WALTERS, renowned bookbinder, will discuss bookbinding and present a book restoration exhibit, Friday and Saturday, noon, Ken Sanders Rare Books, 268 S. 200 East. If you have antique books in need of repair, bring them and ask questions of guest speaker. Walters' craftsmanship represents the European binding tradition of Germany, France and Switzerland.
