Having too many customers isn't a crime, but it resulted in police being called to a South Salt Lake business Tuesday afternoon.
An employee at a business near 700 East and 3838 S. was talking on the phone with another employee who was not at work, said South Salt Lake police detective Gary Keller. At one point during the conversation, the employee said the office was "getting bombed," Keller said.
The employee at work was trying to say they were really busy. The other person, however, interpreted it as a threat of harm, Keller said. That person got off the phone and called police who sent a full assignment.
"When it comes in like that, we respond," Keller said.
After officers arrived, the misunderstanding over being "bombed" was quickly sorted out.
