BYU junior guard Lee Cummard received All-America honorable mention Monday from The Associated Press.

"Lee is an outstanding player who is very deserving of this recognition," BYU coach Dave Rose said. "He was extremely consistent all year and helped lead us to a conference championship and a very successful season. It's a nice honor for him."

A 6-foot-7 native of Mesa, Ariz., Cummard ranked first or second on the team in every statistical category. Cummard led the Cougars in scoring (15.8), field-goal percentage (.569), 3-point percentage (.472) and blocked shots (1.0) and ranked second on the team in rebounds (6.3), assists (3.5), steals (0.9) and free-throw percentage (.857).
