Food storage, financial pamphlets expand reach throughout church

Church pamphlets offering guidelines for building food storage and exercising financial responsibility are now available in 33 languages.

"All is Safely Gathered In," a two-part pamphlet series first released in April 2007, can now reach approximately 94 percent of church units.

"The message is presented in such a simple way that no matter where you are, whether it's Idaho or Argentina, you can recognize how important it is to start preparing," said Jeff Newey of the church's Welfare Services Department in a news release. "We hope that more members will find the hope and encouragement to participate wherever they are and whatever their circumstances."

The pamphlets, which can be obtained through local priesthood leaders, are also available online in 24 languages at Click on "Family Home Storage" or "Family Finances" on the left side of the page. Then click on "Family Home Storage Pamphlet" or "Family Finances Pamphlet" on the right side, then select the appropriate language.
