MEN'S TENNIS: The Cougars secured one more win before leaving to return home from the Boise State Spring Break Invitational on Saturday in Boise. After a 5-2 victory over Yale, the team improves to 2-1 on the weekend and12-6 overall.
GYMNASTICS: Solid team performances in every event sparked a 194.225 outing in Tucson, Ariz.
The No. 30 Cougars' overall posting topped No. 40 Cal State Fullerton's 191.400, but behind No. 18 Arizona's 196.125.
The bars proved to be the Cougars strongest event of the night landing an even 49. No BYU gymnast scored below 9.775 on the apparatus. Senior Kylee Draper-Marvin topped the bars squad recording 9.875 to tie her career-best.
BYU will next travel to Utah Friday for its last meet of the regular season.
LACROSSE: The No. 4-ranked Cougars (5-4) dropped another close game against No. 7 Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs (5-2), 8-6 in Provo Friday night. The loss marks the second time the Cougars have lost at home this season.
